PAINTING THE SCHOOL OF EXCELLENCE
Volunteers are needed to help paint Lehlabile Secondary Shool in Mamelodi, Pretoria.
1. Where, When & Time?
- Venue : Lehlabile Secondary School
136 Broadway Street
Mamelodi East

- Dates : 13th & 14th July 2015
- Time : 09h00 - 16h00
- The project managing committee request volunteers to arrive on site by 09h00 and will leave at 16h00.
2. Catering:
- The provision for catering during the carrying of the project will be available.
- Volunteers will be served with breakfast on their arrival at 9h00 and lunch at 13h00.
- Water is drinkable on site.
3. Sanitation
- The provision of facilities and services such as safe toilets and clean water taps are available at school.
4. What Will volunteers do?
Depending on the project’s schedule, each project task will have an experienced crew leader who will supervise duties and thus ensure quality of work load. Crew leaders will have detailed information on what will keep you busy each day. All you need is to arrive ready to sweat, get dirty and have a great time and experience.
- Volunteers will be painting the classrooms of Lehlabile High School.
- They will also clean the school yard and classrooms which do not neccessarily need repainting.
5. What should volunteers bring on site?
- Volunteers are edged to bring their own tea cups and plates to be dished food.
- Clothes that you do not mind getting dirty.
- Strong gloves if need be.
Volunteering is not always the most glamorous job and is often a very hard work,
but the difference made to the community and young people at this project will be incredibly valuable.
Every volunteer on the day will stir smiles for the learners of Lehlabile Secondary School.
